The product I received was clearly refurbished. Stripped nuts and scuffs, repackaged with tape. Advertised as the perfect rocker plate for the Zwift Ride specifically, but the front support just sits on the plate unsecured. And for the price of this thing, they could do a little better with the instructions. They just print out the identical written steps from the website. Pictures would've helped clarify things when attaching the extenders. The material quality does seem good at least. It has potential, but in it's current incarnation, this is pretty overpriced and I wouldn't have bought it if I knew beforehand.
Hi Nick, we are sorry you are not 100% satisfied. That is our goal. We only ship NEW products unless otherwise specified. The front of the Zwift Ride or any front end of a system using a smart trainer only requires firm attachment of the trainer. The front end will stay put. If we forgot to include an item, we sometimes have to open the package back up then retape it. As for the scuffs, these sometimes occur during transit as UPS uses machines for most of the transferring and they are not exactly gentle. That is why we supply a vial of touch up paint. It does look like you got all the bolt and wingnuts attached correctly. Thank you for your feedback in requesting more visuals. We will take that to heart. My first ride with the Velocity Rocker was a little weird. I've been riding a "fixed" position on an old bike, connected to a smart trainer for years. The first few minutes were like "Whoah!". A little unsettled. A little off kilter. Then my brain switched on and suddenly I realized I'm more comfortable, more engaged head to toes, and -- wait for it -- my watts went up about 40 clicks. THAT, and my butt wasn't sore anymore at the end of my ride and after.
I doubled the amount of time I'm able to spend on the bike comfortably AND I'm more powerful. I shoulda done this years ago.
I must be honest. When I first unboxed, and put it together, the first ride was far from fun! It took me about 3 to 4 rides to really hone in the straps, air pressure, and balls. Once I found the "sweet spot" for me, this thing is awesome. Rides are so much more comfortable, and I love that I am using so much more of my core indoors, than just sitting on a static bike! I would recommend this to anyone. Fantastic product! Look forward to many happy miles with it. Enjoy :)
I logged over 100,000 virtual indoor miles before finally setting my stubbornness aside and giving a rocker plate a try. After doing the research and reading the reviews, I went with Velocity Rockers. Honestly, I should’ve done it years ago—especially considering I’m a physical therapist!
I never expected something so simple to completely change my riding experience. I’ll never go back. It’s dynamic and realistic, almost like riding on the road. The bike moves beneath me, so I’m no longer locked into a rigid position. My back and hamstring soreness? Gone. And I can feel my core working in a way it never did before.
As for sprinting—no issues here. I can throw the bike around just like I would outdoors. And it’s built solid. My Kickr Bike fits perfectly. Sure, I’ve gone through a few of the balls, but I probably ride more than most. They’re easy to replace, and for me, that’s a small trade-off.
I know I’m sounding a bit over the top, but I can’t say enough good things. I love to ride, and this setup makes it even more enjoyable. What can I say?

Quite happy with this setup. Rock solid. Totally changes indoor riding with Zwift. Easy to assemble. Using a Wahoo Kickr.
Take time to make sure the bike is exactly centered over the center of the trainer - I ended up marking the centerline with a strip of tape, then used that to ensure the bike (not the trainer) is perfectly in the middle of the trainer. It was slightly off-center on my first setup and the motion was "odd".
